Call Goes Out to Ireland’s Artisan Makers and Food Producers to Join Ireland’s Biggest Christmas Festival Market

Applications are being sought from talented artisan makers, crafters and food producers across Ireland who are interested in becoming part of the Winterval Christmas Market 2026 in Waterford, Ireland’s biggest Christmas festival and home to the country’s largest festive market experience.

Running on weekends from November 13th through to December 23rd, Winterval transforms Ireland’s oldest city into a magical Christmas destination, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the country and beyond. The festival market features more than 80 artisan vendors alongside festive entertainment, family attractions, fairground rides and seasonal experiences throughout the city.

Winterval has a proud tradition of supporting local enterprise and already works closely with Waterford-based creators, makers and the Waterford Crafts Market. As planning begins for Winterval 2026, organisers are now extending the invitation nationwide in search of unique and exceptional producers whose products can add something special to Ireland’s premier Christmas festival.

From handcrafted gifts and homewares to festive decorations, jewellery, skincare, textiles and gourmet food and drink products, Winterval is inviting passionate businesses and independent makers to consider applying to trade at one of the country’s most celebrated seasonal events.

Festival organisers say they are particularly interested in discovering new and distinctive products that will delight visitors seeking authentic Irish craftsmanship and memorable Christmas gifts.

The Winterval Christmas Market will once again bring festive magic to Waterford on weekends from November 13th until December 23rd, with thousands of visitors expected to enjoy the atmosphere, entertainment and seasonal shopping opportunities throughout the city.
