Join us at the heart of Waterford City for the centrepiece of Ireland’s largest Christmas Festival, The Christmas Market At Winterval.
Soak up the sparkly Christmas atmosphere and yuletide spirit, browse the many Christmas craft and food stalls and support local, regional and national producers, makers and creators this festive season. The Christmas Market at Winterval is spread throughout John Roberts Square, Arundel Square, Georges Street, and O'Connell Street in the heart of Waterford City.
In the market you'll also find family selfie-stop surprises, the Winterval Mini-Express Train, the WAMA wreath making workshops, Santa's VR Sleigh Ride, The Helter Skelter, Santa's Giant Disco Postbox, the Garter Lane Indoor Craft Market, The Polish Christmas Village, as well as being a stones throw away from Winterval On Ice and a range of memorable family attractions and activities.

Our Christmas Market will take place in the vibrant centre of Waterford City and forms part of a wider seasonal festival programme featuring more than 60 attractions and events. Visitors can enjoy festive favourites such as an ice rink, the panto, parades, live music events, children's activities, projection mapping lightshow, funfair attractions, and much more.
We are seeking creative and passionate traders whose products add character, quality, and variety to the market experience. Whether you offer handcrafted gifts, artisan food products, festive decorations, contemporary Irish design, or unique seasonal creations, we welcome applications from businesses that can help create a memorable Christmas atmosphere.
