The Tasteful Tour is a gastro-tourism experience that gives you a sense of time, taste and place- blending Waterford’s historical events and social stories with contemporary food products, producers and businesses. It celebrates food culture in Ireland’s oldest city; we will meander from the quayside to off-the-beaten-track areas and meet with friendly independent café and gastropub staff to hear their food stories and taste their food and beverage offerings.
Your guide Sinead will lead you through a Medieval Quarter of cobbled streets and city walls, pass by historical buildings and wander down ancient laneways. Then we'll continue through the Cultural Quarter surrounded by a vibrant street art scape, stopping along the way to enjoy the unique, and much loved Waterford Blaa.
