Connect with your creativity this festive season with our inspiring range of family-friendly Conscious Crafting workshops at WCQ Place. These workshops are open to all members of the family; kids from 7 years and up are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. No prior experience is required, all materials are provided and each workshop offers a calm space to create something personal for the season and connect with others.
Friday 21 Nov - Oyster Ornaments Workshop
Decorate oyster shells into angels and hanging ornaments using natural materials, decoupage, ribbon, beads, and pens.
Sunday 23 Nov - Sparkly Season Workshop
Create personalised he magic of gelliprinting using paint, metallics and biodegradable glitter and turn them into personalised Seasons’ Greetings cards.
Friday 28 Nov - Glowing Glass Workshop
Decorate glass jars with hessian, ribbons, twine, beads, charms, curtain netting, and tissue paper to create candle holders.
Sunday 30 Nov - Bubbles + Baubles Workshop
Make layered paper baubles using patterned papers, ribbons, beads, and glitter, with options for personal decoration.
Friday 5 Dec - Starry Starry Night
Make stars and assemble a garland or wreath using recycled and natural materials, paper, sticks, and upcycled items. Suitable for kids as young as 5.
