Blue Lights Parade & Emergency Services Display

Waterford City Centre will come alive with sirens, lights, and heroes as part of the Winterval celebrations! Experience the excitement as Waterford’s emergency services roll into town — fire engines, rescue trucks, Garda cars, ambulances, lifeboats, bikes, and more!

Before they park up at Bolton Street Car Park, these amazing vehicles will take part in a Blue Lights Parade through the city centre. Catch them along:
Patrick Street, Peter Street, Lady Lane, Colbeck Street, The Mall, and Lombard Street.

Once they arrive, families can:
-Hop aboard rescue vehicles
-Meet the heroes who keep us safe
-Learn about the amazing work of our emergency services

It’s a must-see Winterval highlight — fun, educational, and perfect for kids (and big kids!) of all ages.
